Severin Safari Camp

Overview

Being connected with the great Kenyan wild nature, experience the unique play of colours of dawn and dusk, listening to the voices of the wilderness, being at peace with yourself – all this and so much more is offered by Severin Safari Camp.

Amidst  we have created a place that reflects the deep bond with the country like nothing else.

The camp welcomes the guests with a unique combination of adventure, relaxation and wellness, very personal service and culinary highlights amidst the African wilderness.

Located between the famous Mzima Springs and the big Tsavo River you will find the un-fenced Severin Safari Camp.

Severin Safari Camp is designed in a harmonious and natural design. The tents, Junior Suites and Suites are equipped with wooden furniture in a traditional African style. Bright and warm colours care for a comfortable and personal atmosphere.

From each of the 27 tents, Junior Suites and Suites you enjoy a wonderful view over the bush landscape and the water holes where the wild animals pass by undisturbed. Masai warriors accompany you to the restaurant or back to your tents after dawn.

Additionally you can experience a very special safari adventure at our Kitani Bandas – as a self-caterer amidst the bush.

Each of the tented rooms faces the rugged wilderness where you might chance to see impalas, elands, waterbuck, zebras or giraffes stopping by for a drink at the waterhole.

Families traveling in East Africa can opt for the Junior and Executive suites that are larger and have a lounge room. The main restaurant of the camp is the ‘Out of Africa.’

Breakfast is served buffet style and at lunch and dinner, you can place your order off the table-d’hote menu.

On your delectable holiday in Tsavo, try some of their signature dishes like marinated meat dishes on hot stone and bouillon fondue accompanied with garden salads, fresh vegetables and herbs served with co-ordinated wines.
