Overview

Keekorok Lodge is the first property located in the  and it offers traditional accommodations with private patios.

 

The lodge was opened in 1962 and is ideally situated in the direct path of the spectacular animal migration that occurs every year from July to October.

 

Guests can experience unparalleled safari adventures, morning and evening game drives are a must for anyone visiting the reserve.

 

Guests can enjoy views of the wildlife from the outdoor pool or the sundeck.

 

All spacious rooms have a balcony, overlooking the garden, pool or Reserve. They are equipped with a ceiling fan, allergy free bedding and mosquito nets.

 

Keekorok Lodge serves traditional dishes in the Hippo Bar, overlooking the lake.

 

For the younger guests a children’s playground is also provided.

 

Keekorok Airstrip is only a 10-minute drive away and a shuttle service is provided on request.

The Lodge consist of 89 double rooms, 8 superior rooms and 4 suits. Accommodation comprises stone built bungalows with private balconies, all with on suite bathrooms

The restaurant serves a variety of traditional African, Asian and Western food.

The bar serves a fine collection of whiskies and cigars along with exquisite freshly ground Kenyan coffee.
